Potty Training a Puppy Using Speed Spot Training Pads

How to Use Speed Spot Training Pads to Potty Train Your Dog

Are you potty or toilet training your dog but struggling to get traditional puppy pads to work effectively? Our new Speed Spot™ Training Pads may be just what you need!

A Faster Way to Potty Train Your Pup

The Speed Spot Training Pad uses your dog’s own pheromones as a natural attractant to help them learn where to “go potty.” Unlike a standard pee pad, each Speed Spot Pad features a pop-up scent patch that captures and holds your dog’s natural scent.

Here’s how it works: simply dab the Speed Spot patch onto your dog’s urine. The activated carbon technology captures and stores the scent, continually releasing it to guide your pup to the pad to handle their business. The patch’s bright blue color also acts as a visual target that dogs can actually see, even with their dichromatic vision.

With the Speed Spot Training Pads, your pup will know exactly where to go—no “potty here” sprays or extra attractants needed!

Designed for Dogs of All Ages and Sizes

Each pad measures 36x36 inches, providing ample coverage for puppies, adult dogs, and seniors alike. Our reusable puppy pads feature a premium silicone, anti-slip backing for safety and stability. The super absorbent, multi-layered core locks in moisture for leakproof protection, keeping your floors dry and your pet comfortable.

How to Use the Speed Spot Training Pad

Step 1: Activate the Speed Spot
Dab the blue scent patch with a small amount of your dog’s urine. The activated carbon will capture and store the pheromones, creating a long-lasting attractant scent to guide your pup.

Step 2: Familiarize Your Dog with the Pad
Allow your dog to see and sniff the pad. The natural pheromone attractant helps your dog instinctively recognize where to pee.

Tip: When your pup pees on the pad, use plenty of praise to create positive reinforcement and help them learn that this is their designated potty station.

Step 3: Wash and Reuse
After your pup uses the pad, simply toss it in the washing machine! The Speed Spot Training Pad is a reusable, eco-friendly, and cost-effective alternative to disposable pee pads.

Note: If you and your pup are able, transitioning to outdoor pottying is often the healthiest and most natural option. Once your dog consistently uses their puppy pad, start moving it gradually closer to the door to guide them toward completing the housebreaking process outside.
